Executive Board Members
Michelle Iezzi
PRESIDENT
Michelle has been working in law enforcement analytics for nearly 20 years. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies in the early 2000s and completed an internship with the Tempe PD’s Crime Analysis Unit which is where her love for analysis was born. The Newport News PD in Virginia hired her as a dispatcher in 2004 where she remained for 18 months before transitioning to a precinct Crime Analyst position. After four years at the precinct level, she was promoted to Intelligence Analyst and remained there until 2014.
In October of that year, Michelle began working as an Intelligence Analyst in the Investigative Support Center for the Washington/Baltimore HIDTA in Maryland. During her years with HIDTA, she was the Program Manager for the Communications Analysis Portal (CAP) program and supported the ATFE’s Crime Gun Intelligence Center. For the last 18 months of her tenure at HIDTA, she was detailed full-time to the FBI’s Washington Field Office and supported the Washington Area Gang Initiative and the Major Offenders Initiative. During her time at HIDTA, she served as the Training Coordinator for the DC Metro Chapter of IALEIA for four years and became a FIAT instructor in 2016.
In April 2018, Michelle started her position with the Montgomery County PD in Maryland and is a Deputy Director in the Information Management & Technology Division. She manages the Analytics & Data Management Section which includes the Crime Analysis Section, the NIBRS Reporting Unit and the NCIC Validations Team. Michelle is also the Administrator for the department’s Automated License Plate Reader Program and was part of the workgroup that created the department’s Violent Crimes Information Center which operates like a real time crime center. She has served on the IACA Site Selection Committee and is currently on the IACA Instructor Sub-Committee.

Amanda DiStefano
VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION
Amanda DiStefano is currently a Criminal Analyst for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Previously, Amanda spent three years as an Intelligence Analyst III at Liberty Mid-Atlantic HIDTA, where she was primarily responsible for conducting strategic analysis of crime and public health data to assess threats in the Greater Philadelphia Area. This analysis was used to provide insight for counter drug strategic planning. Additionally, Amanda provided investigative support to law enforcement agencies as well as served as a liaison among law enforcement and public health partners to promote collaboration and information-sharing throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Amanda is one of the founding members of MARACA and served as the acting President from mid-2024 through June 2025.
Amanda graduated with a Master’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and received a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and Criminology from Drexel University in 2019.
In her spare time, you can find her cheering on her local sports teams or at a country concert.
Kelly Jones
VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP
Kelly Jones is a Criminal Intelligence Analyst with the Maryland State Police. She is assigned to the Western Maryland Information Center (WMIC) in Frederick. Kelly provides direct analytical support to Law Enforcement in the Western Maryland area. Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland – College Park. She also has a master’s degree in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland – University College.

Christine Garvin
SECRETARY
Christine Garvin is currently the crime analyst for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office [Westminster, Maryland]. She began her career in the law enforcement field in 2004, as an Administrative Assistant, assisting the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center in a multitude of tasks. Some of these duties included records, compiling statistical information, transcription of meeting minutes, assisting personnel with HR related tasks as well as assisting in Public Information Act & Freedom of Information Act Requests. In 2014, Christine became the first crime analyst for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and continues to be the only analyst for the entire county. She assists not only the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office but also all the municipality law enforcement agencies within the county with any analysis needs. Part of her duties entails she works closely with other agencies, within the county and throughout multiple geographic regions, sharing intel to link and solve cases. Christine’s duties do not stop at crime analysis, she is also responsible for conducting traffic analysis as well as administrative analysis. In addition to her role as crime analyst, Christine is also one of two county administrators for pawn and scrap items. In this role, she ensures businesses are compliant with the state and county laws as well as reporting their transactions accurately and timely. Christine’s work in analysis has led to the linking of numerous cases, successful identification and prosecution of individuals engaged in criminal activity.
Christine holds a Master of Science degree in criminal justice with a concentration in crime analysis from Tiffin University in Ohio, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Mount St Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. She has been recognized twice as Employee of the Year. First was in 2006 in her role as an administrative assistant for the Carroll County Detention Center and second was in 2016, in her role as crime analyst for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Furthermore, she has received two Certificates of Appreciations from the Sheriff’s Office, both in 2008.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys managing her family horse farm, providing riding lessons and spending time outdoors.

Adrienne Hoffman-Lewis
TREASURER
As a crime analyst with the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, Adrienne provides statistical analysis, maps, and analytical reports to internal and external stakeholders. Adrienne also manages multiple grants designed to decrease violence and provide support to officers. These grants further the Group Violence Intervention (GVI) strategy implementation within the city, requiring coordination with multiple Dauphin County agencies, service providers, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, these grants provide Harrisburg officers with upgraded technology to aid in the investigation and prosecution of gun violence throughout the city, as well as support wellness programs for the officers.
Prior to working at the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, Adrienne worked at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children for almost 10 years. She was most recently a project specialist in the Family Advocacy Division at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. In this role, she managed the Family Advocacy Outreach Network by locating, recruiting, and encouraging therapists, support groups, and others to provide pro bono or sliding scale assistance to families. Adrienne also assisted in the creation of policies, programs, and procedures to enhance the role of the division and was certified as an OKR expert. Adrienne began her career at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as a research analyst in the Case Analysis Division, where she completed case comparisons of missing, recovered deceased, and unidentified children for investigations of offenders at the request of law enforcement.
Before joining the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Adrienne was a research fellow with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit 3, Crimes Against Children. As a research fellow, she provided operational support and analysis for large-scale active investigations as well as prepared and created a protocol for use in a study of child pornography offenders. She was a recipient of the 2011-2012 Psi Chi/FBI National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime’s Internship Grant.
Adrienne graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the California State University of Los Angeles. She also holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Marymount University, where she was an adjunct faculty member and recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award in 2018.
